The charming actress Kannada film No 1 spot occupant since a long time RAMYA is feeling proud because of her film festival in the month of April.
Wait. No one is organizing Ramya film festival. It is just happening. Two more films are scheduled for this month makes it three fresh film releases. Three in a row is a hat trick! Three in arow in the past - Akash, Amrutha Dhare and Gowramma given hat trick for Ramya in the past running to 100 days!
Perhaps never in the career of Ramya three films got released in a month. April being the month of festivals –Ugadi – Chandramana and Souramana, Sri Ramanavami festival, Dr Rajakumar birth anniversary and Dr Rajakumar Jayanthi, Dr Ambedkar Jayanthi, Mahaveera Jayanthi, Devara Dasimayya Jayanthi, Bengaluru Karaga festival, Vishwa Parampare Dina, Good Friday, Pavithra Shanivara (on 23rd of April) and Ramya film festival.
Three films all top ones – Sanju Weds Geetha, Dandam Dashagunam and Johny Mera Naam Preethi Mere Kaam are there to treat the huge fan following of Ramya.
This month is a rejoicing one actress Ramya no doubt about it and she is the only actress from the very posh Lavelle Road in Bengaluru.
Ramya’s ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ (released on 1st of April 2011) is already making good news in the box office beating commercial hero films. Srinagara Kitty is the hero for her in this film. ‘Japan’ as Ramya calls director Nagashekar has done tremendous works with music director Jaasie Gift and cameraman Sathya Hegde.
Ramya’s ‘Dandam Dashagunam’ in which she plays a government school teacher opposite Chiranjeevi Sarja was locked in controversy but everything is fine now. A Ganesh is the producer of this film. K Madesh successful director has handled this ‘Khaka Khaka’ film remake. V Harikrishna has scored the music and Manohar is the cameraman.
‘Johny Mere Naam’ shot maximum in Mysore at a specially erected set at Kala Degula is directed by Preetham Gubbi of ‘Haage Summane’ director and ‘Mungaru Male’ story writer. Ramya is paired with action hero Vijay. Krishna is the cameraman and V Harikrishna has scored the music.
All the best for Ramya for hat trick of releases in a month. In the past three films of Ramya in a row completed 100 days is the first hat trick of her career. They are Amrutha Dhaare, Akash and Gowramma!
